Nani’s latest film, The Paradise, is making headlines for outperforming several high-profile October releases in ticket sales, even as its reviews remain mixed. Known for his consistent box-office presence, Nani teams up with director Srikanth Odela for this project, which has managed to surprise industry watchers with its resilience at the box office.
On its second Saturday, marking day 10 since release, The Paradise recorded approximately 27,000 ticket sales on BookMyShow. This figure surpasses the day 2 sales of Fahadh Faasil’s Don’t Trouble The Trouble, which managed 14,520 tickets, and also outpaces Keerthy Suresh’s Dorothy, which has not shown significant momentum in bookings so far. Sundeep Kishan’s Sigma, despite a strong opening of 54,000 tickets, saw its day 2 sales drop to 25,190, while Thella Kaagitham stood at 22,620 tickets on the same day.
The Paradise has already achieved breakeven status in the Nizam region, including GST, which is notable given the film’s uneven word of mouth. The contrast is particularly striking as the competing October 2 releases featured established stars and benefited from fresh release buzz, yet have not matched The Paradise’s sustained ticket sales.
Earlier coverage highlighted that The Paradise had already crossed 1.8 million pre-sale tickets before release, the highest for any film in 2026. Now, with its current box office trend, the film continues to defy expectations and maintain its lead in a competitive Telugu box-office season.
