Ram Charan’s Peddi sets box office on fire with record-breaking numbers
Ram Charan’s highly awaited film Peddi has delivered a sensational opening, making headlines with its massive $1.5 million premiere haul in North America. The film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has become a talking point across Tollywood circles, with both critics and fans lauding its grand scale and emotional impact.
After the success of his recent projects, Ram Charan’s collaboration with Buchi Babu Sana has generated huge anticipation. With a star-studded cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani, and an evocative soundtrack by AR Rahman, Peddi is produced under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
In a remarkable feat, Peddi has also become only the fourth Telugu film to cross the 40,000 tickets-per-hour milestone on BookMyShow, peaking at an incredible 45,000 tickets sold in a single hour. This puts the film in elite company alongside blockbusters like Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar, and Pushpa 2.
