Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 Rockets Past ₹1,748 Cr, Overtakes Pushpa 2

Ranveer Singh’s spy thriller Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has scripted box office history, smashing past the ₹1,748 crore mark worldwide and eclipsing Pushpa 2 to claim the third spot among the highest-grossing Indian films ever. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, is now only behind the mighty Baahubali 2 and Dangal in the all-time rankings.

For both Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar, this marks an astonishing leap in their cinematic journeys. The film’s 31st day in theatres saw a resurgence, with a remarkable ₹4.65 crore net collection in India up from ₹2.70 crore the previous day proving the movie’s staying power even as it enters its fifth week.

With over ₹1,110 crore net in India and a domestic gross of ₹1,329 crore, Dhurandhar 2’s box office juggernaut is further boosted by a spectacular overseas haul exceeding ₹420 crore. Trade circles attribute the film’s triumph to "consistent footfall, strong word-of-mouth, and repeat viewership," as reported by analysts. Even with fresh competition from Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla, which managed ₹35 crore in two days, Dhurandhar 2 enjoyed a notable weekend surge, reflecting unwavering audience interest.

As the thriller continues its incredible run, all eyes are on whether Dhurandhar 2 can challenge Baahubali 2’s colossal record in the coming weeks.
