Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day Sets $936M North America Record

Tom Holland has led Spider-Man: Brand New Day to a historic milestone, as the film has now become the highest-grossing Hollywood release of all time in North America, collecting an astonishing $936 million. This achievement breaks the previous record held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens, a feat not even Avengers: Endgame managed to accomplish.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day features Tom Holland alongside Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, continuing the story from Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). The film’s remarkable box office journey began with the biggest opening weekend ever recorded in the territory, and its sustained momentum propelled it to this all-time record.

The superhero entertainer’s total global earnings have now crossed $2.43 billion, making it the third-highest grosser in worldwide box office history. The film’s strong performance follows earlier milestones, including a record-breaking opening in India and the largest first-weekend domestic haul, as previously reported in late July and early August.

Industry watchers have noted that Brand New Day’s enduring popularity is driven by both the appeal of its cast and the excitement following the events of No Way Home. Social media platforms have seen widespread celebration from fans, who are thrilled to witness Spider-Man set new benchmarks in the superhero genre.

With this latest achievement, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has firmly established itself as a defining moment for Hollywood releases in North America, rewriting box office history with its unprecedented run.
