Aamir Khan's Recent Films Struggle to Match Past Glory
Aamir Khan, often celebrated as Mr Perfect of Indian cinema, has found himself navigating a tough phase in his career, with his latest projects struggling to recreate the magic of his earlier blockbusters. After the monumental success of "Dangal" in 2016, which set new records at the box office, Aamir has not managed to deliver a film that resonates as strongly with audiences.
Despite his reputation for meticulous script selection and active involvement in pre-production, recent years have seen Aamir face setbacks both as an actor and a producer. While he was behind critically acclaimed films such as "Secret Superstar" and co-produced "Laapataa Ladies" with Kiran Rao, his acting ventures like "Thugs of Hindostan" and "Laal Singh Chaddha" failed to impress at the box office. His latest production, "Ek Din", starring his son Junaid Khan, also saw disappointing turnout from audiences.
Aamir's cameo in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film "Coolie" even attracted online criticism, with some fans questioning his recent choices. As per reports, "From the past decade, Aamir Khan did not have a decent film. As an actor and as a producer, Aamir Khan failed to live up to the expectations."
With industry watchers keenly observing his next moves, fans are hoping Aamir Khan will soon announce a project that brings back his signature cinematic brilliance.
