Allu Arjun, currently immersed in the filming of his next big project Raaka, has received permission from the Nampally Criminal Court to attend the ongoing Sandhya Theatre stampede case proceedings virtually. The case originates from the tragic incident at the Pushpa 2: The Rule premiere in December 2024, where a stampede resulted in the death of a woman and left her son severely injured.

The court's decision comes after Allu Arjun's legal team requested an exemption from physical appearance, citing his packed shooting schedule in Mumbai. The court has previously allowed the actor to join hearings via video conference, and this arrangement will continue, with the proceedings now adjourned to July 29, 2026. During the latest session, the public prosecutor distributed copies of a 500-page chargesheet to all 23 accused, including Allu Arjun, who is listed as Accused No. 11.

Sources indicate the chargesheet details alleged mismanagement by theatre officials and event organisers, as well as lapses attributed to the actor's team. Some co-accused were absent at the hearing, leading to another postponement. The case remains in the pre-trial stage, and detailed hearings have yet to commence.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun remains focused on wrapping up Raaka, which is expected to hit theatres next year. Fans will be closely watching how both the legal proceedings and his upcoming film unfold.
