Asian Suniel Narang Bids Farewell to Telangana Film Chamber Leadership

Prominent film producer and distributor Asian Suniel Narang has officially resigned from his role as President of the Telangana Film Chamber. This move comes after a series of controversies and increasing pressures within the industry, marking a significant shift for Tollywood’s distribution landscape.

Suniel Narang, whose recent years have seen him collaborating with top stars like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ravi Teja, and Vijay Deverakonda in the establishment of cinemas across Telangana, has long been regarded as a pillar in regional film distribution. His statement cited both health concerns and the expectation to make decisions that would appease select office bearers, which he could no longer support.

In his official note, Narang said, "The Chamber should run on anonymous decisions which are not happening therefore please relieve me with immediate effect. I am suggesting Sekar or Vijendar to take charge immediately." His exit has stirred discussions among industry insiders, many of whom acknowledge his considerable investments in theatres and his influential role in exhibition partnerships.

Looking ahead, all eyes are on who will step into the leadership role, with Narang’s suggested successors Sekar or Vijendar likely to be considered. The Telangana film community awaits further developments as this transition unfolds.
