This development comes as a surprise to fans of Mangli, known for her energetic performances and recent work on the soundtrack of 'KD-The Devil'.
According to the complaint lodged by advocate Subbarao, Mangli allegedly accepted ₹10 crores with a commitment to repay, but failed to do so. The advocate further claimed that when he confronted Mangli regarding the repayment, she, along with director Venu Udugula and others, threatened him and his family. Based on these allegations, police have registered a case against Mangli, her brother, and three others under Sections BNS 351(2) and 352.

Director Venu Udugula, recognized for his impactful storytelling in Telugu cinema, is also named in the complaint.
With the investigation now underway, both police questioning and official responses from the accused are expected soon. Fans and the industry alike are keenly watching for updates on this high-profile case.
