Chiranjeevi’s Relentless Philanthropy Inspires Fans Again
Megastar Chiranjeevi has reaffirmed his reputation as one of Telugu cinema’s most compassionate figures, coming to the aid of two families in dire medical need this past week. While he’s often a subject of public debate and targeted criticism from various quarters, Chiranjeevi’s charitable work remains undeterred, setting a high bar for industry peers.
Recently, the veteran actor celebrated for his enduring career and consistent box office draws—donated a total of ₹20 lakhs to support urgent medical treatments. He extended ₹10.5 lakhs to his trusted makeup artist Sivanath (Siva) for critical heart surgery, and ₹9.5 lakhs for the life-saving bypass surgery of his former manager KV Narasaiah’s wife. Chiranjeevi went beyond financial help, directly engaging with Apollo Hospitals to secure discounts for the families and ensuring their emotional well-being.
This is not a one-off gesture. Chiranjeevi has a longstanding commitment to philanthropy, recently donating his full ₹10 lakh NTR Award prize money to charities and contributing ₹5 lakhs to the Telugu Film Journalists’ Association. As per reports, “his actions show why millions see him as more than a legendary actor, they see a true human being.”
Though multiple groups may continue questioning him, Chiranjeevi’s focus remains on helping those in need. Fans can expect his off-screen legacy of kindness to continue alongside his cinematic journey.
