NTR, fresh off his birthday celebrations, kept fans buzzing with a teaser from his upcoming film Dragon. However, the industry grapevine has it that updates on his much-awaited projects, God of War and Devara 2, were conspicuously missing from the festivities.
As per sources, the official announcement for God of War, the anticipated collaboration with Trivikram, has been postponed until June. While talks are ongoing, nothing has been set in stone just yet. The buzz suggests that all eyes are on this big-ticket project, with NTR reportedly placing it firmly at the top of his to-do list.
Turning to Devara 2, fans have been waiting over a year for news, but the silence has only grown louder. Industry insiders say Devara 2 is effectively on hold. Koratala Siva, who helmed the original, is now fully engaged with his upcoming venture with Balakrishna, which is expected to go on floors later this year. With NTR’s schedule packed he’s also lined up a film with Nelson Dilipkumar—there’s little room for Devara 2 in the immediate future.
Unless the makers break their silence soon, it looks like Devara 2 is off the radar for now. For fans, the wait continues will the sequel ever see the light of day?
