Kangana questioned why Taapsee’s parents could not produce someone 'original' like her own parents did, and insisted she had never involved anyone’s family in their disputes. These posts were later deleted, though no reason was given for their removal.

Taapsee did not issue a direct reply but posted an Instagram story reading 'Hence, proved.' While she did not mention Kangana by name, the timing led many to interpret it as a response to the controversy. The feud between the two actresses dates back several years, originating during the Bollywood nepotism debate and gaining traction after Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel accused Taapsee of imitating Kangana.
