Mamitha Baiju Responds to Viral Marriage Rumour With Playful Instagram Comment

Mamitha Baiju, who recently appeared in the Malayalam film Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, found herself at the centre of an unusual social media rumour this week. An entertainment page on Instagram claimed that her brother, Mithun Baiju, was involved in making every major decision in her life, including whom she would marry.

Rather than issue a formal clarification, Mamitha chose a lighthearted approach. She jumped into the comments section of the post and dropped a confused Minion sticker with the word “What?”, instantly dismissing the rumour. The single sticker quickly became a talking point, as fans began sharing screenshots across film groups and fan pages. The playful response not only shut down the claim but also highlighted that the story was entirely fabricated.

Mamitha's reaction drew praise from her followers, who appreciated her sense of humour and composure in handling personal speculation. The incident also sparked a wave of supportive comments, with many users echoing her disbelief at the bizarre rumour.

On the professional front, Mamitha is gearing up for her next release, the Tamil romantic drama Irandu Vaanam. She stars alongside Vishnu Vishal in this project, which is directed by Ram D. Although the film was initially slated for release soon, the team recently decided to postpone it. Producers are expected to announce a new release date in the coming weeks.
