After making a notable entry into Telugu cinema with "Sita Ramam," Mrunal Thakur quickly became a familiar face in the industry. Her performances in films like "Hi Nanna" drew plenty of appreciation, even though not every project found box office success. "Family Star" may not have clicked commercially, but the buzz suggests Mrunal's acting was widely praised. More recently, she appeared in Adivi Sesh’s "Dacoit," which reportedly received a decent response.
Interestingly, while her Telugu journey has been eventful, Mrunal’s recent Hindi films have not fared well, with all her Bollywood outings ending up as disappointments. Despite this, her popularity on social media remains strong, with her posts and videos often going viral among fans.
Currently, Mrunal has not announced any new projects. As per sources, she is set to play a crucial role in Allu Arjun’s "Raaka," which is her only major film in the pipeline. Industry grapevine has it that she has been in talks for a couple of Telugu projects, but none have materialized so far. There’s also chatter about her demanding a hefty fee for Telugu films, while her situation in Hindi cinema appears quite different.
For now, all eyes are on "Raaka," scheduled for release next year. Mrunal’s fans are eagerly awaiting updates, hoping she’ll announce her next big move soon.
