Pavan Sadineni, currently helming the film Aakasam Lo Oka Tara starring Dulquer Salmaan, has been granted bail after his recent arrest in Hyderabad. The director, known for his work on Prema Ishq Kaadhal, Savitri, and Senapathi, was taken into custody by Golconda police following a complaint from a woman associated with the film industry.
The complainant alleged that she was in a relationship with Pavan Sadineni for over a year, during which he promised marriage and career opportunities in films. She accused him of sexual exploitation, physical assault, and cheating. Based on her complaint, police registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and produced Sadineni before a magistrate, after which he was initially sent to judicial custody.
