Pawan Kalyan travels to Kerala for Ayurvedic therapy after shoulder surgery.
Doctors advised further treatment following post-surgery complications.
He is expected to return to Andhra Pradesh next month after recovery.
Pawan Kalyan, renowned actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has arrived in Kerala to begin Ayurvedic therapy as part of his recovery from recent right shoulder surgery. The popular leader and star underwent a rotator cuff procedure in Mumbai last month, following a medical evaluation that revealed significant damage to his shoulder muscles.
Despite medical advice to rest after surgery, Pawan Kalyan resumed his official responsibilities soon after being discharged from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. However, his condition reportedly deteriorated, with swelling and fever prompting doctors to recommend further treatment. On Saturday, he travelled to an Ayurvedic hospital and resort near Thrissur, Kerala, where he is expected to stay for specialized therapy sessions.
Pawan Kalyan's decision to seek traditional Ayurvedic care comes after conventional post-surgery recovery did not yield the desired results. According to reports, the therapy is intended to support his healing process and ensure a full recovery before he returns to his political commitments in Andhra Pradesh. The actor is anticipated to remain in Kerala for some time, with plans to return next month once his health stabilizes.
Earlier this year, Pawan Kalyan's medical journey began with a diagnosis of severe shoulder injuries, leading to his surgery in Mumbai. His commitment to balancing public service and personal health has drawn attention, especially as he continues to play a significant role in Andhra Pradesh politics while managing his recovery.
