Pawan Kalyan Undergoes Surgery, Takes Short Break from Official Duties

Tollywood actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has undergone surgery following a period of ongoing health concerns. Known for his relentless work ethic both as an actor and politician, Pawan Kalyan recently experienced a health setback while discussing administrative matters with his team, prompting urgent medical attention.

Pawan Kalyan, who also heads the Jana Sena Party, has been active in public service and political meetings despite health issues over the past few months. According to an official statement from his office, he was taken to hospital after falling ill during a meeting. Doctors conducted a full suite of medical tests, including an MRI, and determined that surgery was necessary.

The procedure was completed successfully, and his medical team has now recommended a recovery period of seven to ten days. "The doctors said that he would be able to participate in official functions after a week to ten days of rest. However, the doctors said that he would have to take proper precautions for a long time and that it would take a long time to recover completely," stated P. Hari Prasad, Political Secretary to Pawan Kalyan.

All of Pawan Kalyan's official meetings and public appearances have been cancelled for the immediate future. Fans and well-wishers have taken to social media to wish him a speedy recovery. The star is expected to resume his duties after the advised period of rest, with supporters eagerly awaiting his return to both political and cinematic engagements.
