Rajamouli Breaks Silence on Rumoured Suriya Collaboration in Chennai

SS Rajamouli, known for his blockbuster hits and genre-defining storytelling, finally addressed the persistent buzz around his potential collaboration with Tamil star Suriya. The conversation unfolded during the Don’t Trouble the Trouble event in Chennai, where Rajamouli was asked directly about the much-discussed project.

Rajamouli, whose recent films have set new benchmarks in Indian cinema, anticipated the question and responded with characteristic candour. He explained that any official update about joining hands with Suriya would immediately overshadow the purpose of the event, which was to promote another film. "If I announce anything now, it will become the main talking point and take away attention from the film we are here to support," Rajamouli said, choosing to keep details under wraps for the time being.

Despite withholding specifics, Rajamouli did not disappoint the audience. He teased that whenever he and Suriya eventually collaborate, it will be a project to remember. Suriya, seated in the front row, shared a laugh with Rajamouli, signalling his own enthusiasm for the idea.

This playful exchange has reignited excitement among fans, with social media once again abuzz about the possibility of the two powerhouses working together. While Rajamouli stopped short of confirming a timeline or project details, his comments have ensured that anticipation remains high. For now, there is no official announcement, but the director’s remarks have kept the speculation alive and fans eagerly awaiting further news.
