Rakul Preet Singh, known for her recent performances in Telugu and Hindi cinema, has firmly refuted any connection to the ongoing Income Tax searches targeting the film industry. Locations associated with the actress were among those examined during a recent operation in Mumbai, sparking speculation and linking her name to suspected financial irregularities and overseas fund transfers.

Rakul, who has collaborated with several leading directors and production houses in both Tollywood and Bollywood, addressed the issue directly on social media. She emphasized that the searches were not related to her and criticized unverified media reports, stating that such coverage has damaged her reputation. The actress insisted, "I am not involved in any illegal foreign remittances, either personally or on behalf of any production house." She further clarified she does not hold benami properties in India or abroad and highlighted her record of responsible tax payments.

Despite the widespread attention on social platforms and within entertainment circles, no official findings have been disclosed implicating Rakul.
