Ram Charan Undergoes Surgery in Coimbatore, Chiranjeevi by His Side

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has hit a pause on his action-packed schedule after sustaining a significant wrist injury while filming intense wrestling scenes for his upcoming movie, 'Peddi'. As per sources, the injury involved a cartilage tear and bone damage, which required medical intervention. The buzz suggests that the surgery, initially postponed, became unavoidable, prompting the Charan family to fly to Coimbatore for the procedure.

The entire family, including Chiranjeevi, Smt. Surekha, and Upasana, reportedly accompanied Ram Charan on a special jet from Hyderabad's Begumpet airport. The operation is scheduled for tomorrow, and doctors have advised several weeks of rest post-surgery. This means Charan will be away from film sets for a while, taking a much-needed break to focus on recovery.

Industry grapevine has it that Charan's next big project with director Sukumar—currently referred to as RC17—will only commence after he regains full fitness. Sukumar is said to have wrapped up the final script and is busy with pre-production, while Mythri Movie Makers are backing the venture. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi, who is juggling his own shoot for director Bobby, has reportedly taken a short break to be with his son during this crucial time.
