Rashmika Mandanna, known for her roles in films like 'Pushpa: The Rise' and 'Geetha Govindam', has addressed the criticism she faces regarding her accent and pronunciation while working in multiple Indian film industries. Having started her career with the Kannada film 'Kirik Party', Rashmika quickly expanded into Telugu with 'Chalo', followed by Tamil's 'Sulthan' and Hindi's 'Goodbye'. Her journey across languages was not a planned move, but rather a result of organic opportunities, as she explained in a recent interaction.

Born into a Kodava family, Rashmika's mother tongue is Kodava Takk, a language with no major film industry. This led her to pursue acting opportunities in other languages. Despite her popularity, the actress has faced social media trolling over her dialogue delivery and accent in various films. Rashmika openly admitted, “I am not an expert in any particular language,” describing herself as a “Jack of all trades, master of none.” She emphasised that her main priority is to connect with audiences in their own language, considering it a mark of respect.

Rashmika shared that she prefers to focus on her work rather than engage with negative comments online. According to her, the real task is to deliver strong performances and tell meaningful stories, not to respond to every remark on social media. Her approach has resonated with many, especially as she continues to balance projects across Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema.

Among her upcoming projects are 'Mysaa' and 'Ranabaali', reflecting her ongoing commitment to diverse roles and industries. Earlier this month, Rashmika faced backlash on social media following her speech at the trailer launch of 'Epic – First Semester', highlighting the persistent scrutiny around her language skills.
