Kollywood actor Ravi Mohan, known for his steady run in Tamil cinema, finds himself in the spotlight for reasons far from his film career. His ongoing divorce case with Aarti Ravi has become a hot topic, especially after recent court proceedings and public statements from both families.

As per sources, the latest buzz started when reports surfaced that Aarti had sought ₹40 lakh per month as interim maintenance. Producer Sujatha Vijayakumar, Aarti’s mother, clarified to the media that this amount was not solely for Aarti’s personal use but was meant to cover the family and children’s expenses. She also denied several of Ravi’s allegations and urged him to focus on his role as a father.

The Chennai Family Court, however, reportedly rejected the ₹40 lakh plea and instead ordered Ravi to pay ₹3 lakh per month until the case is resolved. The court also granted him unrestricted visitation rights to meet his two sons. Ravi, in his response after the verdict, expressed that while he now has access to his children, the emotional distance caused by the dispute may not be easily bridged. He maintained that many accusations against him are untrue and stated his intent to continue fighting through legal channels.

Industry grapevine has it that both sides are presenting their versions in public, but none of the major allegations have been proven in court so far. The case remains open, and any final judgment will depend on the legal process rather than public opinion. For now, the only certainty is that this family dispute is far from over, and the next court hearing could bring fresh twists.
