Salman Khan Praises Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar Role on Koffee With Karan

Salman Khan’s appearance on the first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 9 has become a talking point, especially for his comments on Ranveer Singh’s performance in the film Dhurandhar. Salman, who has been active with high-profile projects in recent years, was joined by Karisma Kapoor, who surprised viewers by stepping in as host and steering the conversation toward some of Bollywood’s most-discussed performances.

When asked to choose between Ranbir Kapoor’s intense role in Animal and Ranveer Singh’s portrayal in Dhurandhar, Salman offered a nuanced perspective, highlighting the distinct nature of both characters. He specifically addressed Ranveer’s approach in Dhurandhar, stating, “Especially for Ranveer in Dhurandhar, he had to control his energy and all that he usually does in a larger-than-life style. He had to control all of that big time. He didn’t have any insecurities as an actor. He was very secure as an actor and in that role for Dhurandhar.”

Salman’s remarks quickly gained traction on social media, with fans and industry watchers sharing clips and discussing his insights. The film Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead, has already been the subject of much conversation, with Ranveer previously acknowledging the challenges he faced during its making. The production house and director behind Dhurandhar were not named in the episode, but the film’s impact continues to be felt through such high-profile endorsements.

The viral spread of Salman’s comments underscores the ongoing interest in both Ranveer Singh’s evolving acting style and the legacy of Dhurandhar within Bollywood’s recent slate.
