Sreeleela, one of the busiest faces in South Indian cinema, is having a rollercoaster phase in her career. The latest buzz from Tamil circles suggests she is no longer part of Ajith Kumar’s eagerly awaited film, with reports indicating Kayadu Lohar has replaced her. While there’s no official confirmation yet, the news has sparked quite a stir on social media, with fans and industry watchers speculating about what’s behind this sudden change.
This development closely follows her earlier exit from Lenin, where she had initially shot for a week before date clashes forced her to step away. Producer Naga Vamsi clarified that Sreeleela wasn’t at fault and the replacement was purely due to scheduling issues. Bhagyashri Borse, who filled in, ended up winning hearts with a performance that drew plenty of applause post-release, putting the spotlight back on Sreeleela’s missed chance.
Despite these setbacks, Sreeleela’s calendar remains packed. She’s currently filming an untitled Hindi project with Kartik Aaryan and is also part of Dhanush’s 55th film. As the industry grapevine swirls with chatter about missed opportunities, all eyes are now on her upcoming projects to see if she can silence the talk and reclaim the narrative.
