Tiger Shroff, known for his recent action-packed roles in Bollywood, has found himself at the center of a major investigation after a firing incident targeted him in Mumbai. The actor, who has been consistently delivering high-octane performances, was not harmed in the attack, but the event has triggered a swift response from law enforcement and government officials.
Authorities have arrested three suspects in connection with the shooting. The arrests took place at Kota railway station in Rajasthan, where the suspects were reportedly attempting to escape following the incident. The Mumbai Crime Branch has now taken over the case, with 15 dedicated teams working to unravel the details. CCTV footage captured two individuals believed to be the shooters, and investigators are analyzing their movements, including the use of a motorcycle that was later abandoned near Andheri railway station.
The case took another turn when gangsters Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the attack through a social media post. However, police have yet to confirm the authenticity of this claim or the gang's involvement. Investigators are also exploring whether the shooters acted under instructions from individuals based outside India.
After the incident, Tiger Shroff met with Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. During the meeting, Tiger reportedly stated that he had not received any threats and was unaware of any personal disputes or reasons for being linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Shinde assured Tiger and his family of full government support and promised enhanced security measures. He also discussed the matter with Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti and Tiger’s father, Jackie Shroff. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has publicly committed to taking strict action against those responsible.
The investigation remains active as police continue efforts to confirm the identities of all involved and to determine the motive behind the attack.
