Popular actress Trisha Krishnan found herself at the center of a security scare as her Chennai residence was the subject of a bomb threat on Monday morning. The incident triggered an immediate police response, highlighting increased scrutiny on Trisha, who recently wrapped up filming for the much-awaited Chiranjeevi starrer 'Viswhambara'.
The alert was raised after the Director General of Police (DGP) Control Room received an email at 9:30 AM claiming an explosive device was planted at her home. Reacting swiftly, the DGP office informed Teynampet police, who, alongside the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad and sniffer dogs, conducted an extensive search of the premises. After hours of checking, the authorities confirmed that no explosives were found and declared the threat a hoax.
This is not the first time Trisha’s residence has faced such a scare; a similar threat was reported earlier this year. The Cyber Crime Wing of Chennai Police has now started an investigation into the origin of the threatening email. Trisha, who has been in the news for her recent appearance with Vijay and ongoing rumors surrounding her career, remains in the public eye.
With 'Viswhambara' gearing up for release soon, fans are keeping a close watch on both Trisha’s safety and her next cinematic moves.
