Vijay Sethupathi Praises Vijay Amid Bigg Boss Tamil Controversy

Vijay Sethupathi, currently hosting the tenth season of Bigg Boss Tamil, took a moment at the audio launch of the film Baththa to speak warmly about Thalapathy Vijay. Sethupathi, who recently stepped into the Bigg Boss Tamil host role after Kamal Haasan, has found himself at the center of a social media debate following his comments on leadership and responsibility during the reality show. Some online discussions have interpreted his remarks as political references, sparking ongoing controversy in recent days.

Despite the heated debate, Sethupathi chose not to address the controversy directly at the Baththa event. Instead, he shared a personal anecdote involving Vijay and his son Jason Sanjay, describing Vijay as a "Cute Fellow." This gesture highlighted the cordial relationship between the two actors and drew attention from both fans and the media, especially given the current climate of social media scrutiny.

Sethupathi’s comments about Vijay come at a time when the Bigg Boss Tamil host’s statements have triggered widespread discussion online. Rather than fueling the debate, he focused on his positive impression of Vijay, which many saw as a sign of mutual respect between the stars.

At the same event, Sethupathi also reflected on his experience working with Rajinikanth in Jailer 2. He recalled a memorable scene with the superstar and praised Rajinikanth’s simplicity and dedication on set, noting how the senior actor’s approach continues to impress him.

Earlier coverage reported that Sethupathi’s leadership remarks on Bigg Boss Tamil 10 had sparked a political debate in Tamil Nadu, with some interpreting them as a critique of Chief Minister Vijay. However, at the Baththa audio launch, Sethupathi’s focus remained on his personal experiences with his colleagues, steering clear of the ongoing controversy.
