Aamir Khan has openly shared his worries about his son Junaid Khan’s upcoming film, Ek Din, which is set for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026. The romantic entertainer, featuring Junaid alongside Sai Pallavi, is one of the most talked-about debuts in recent times, sparking intense anticipation within the industry and among fans.
Directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din also stars Kunal Kapoor, Kavin Dave, and Pragati Mishra in pivotal roles. Junaid and Sai Pallavi will be seen as Rohan and Meera, bringing a fresh pairing to the big screen. Aamir Khan, known for his methodical approach and recent focus on producing meaningful cinema, admitted, “I don’t recall being so anxious for any of my films. Ek Din is important for Junaid. He seems quite relaxed, whereas I am a nervous wreck.”
Industry insiders reveal that the film has shaped up impressively, with Arijit Singh lending his voice to several tracks, adding to the film’s musical appeal. The project holds special significance for Aamir due to the involvement of his cousin Mansoor Ali Khan, who contributed creatively and previously collaborated with Aamir on classics like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.
With the release just around the corner, all eyes are on Junaid and Sai Pallavi to see if Ek Din lives up to the mounting expectations. Fans can look forward to the box office verdict and the film’s musical resonance in the coming weeks.
