Aamir Khan Exits Ashneer Grover Biopic Over Creative Differences
Aamir Khan has reportedly withdrawn from the much-anticipated biopic on entrepreneur Ashneer Grover, following creative disagreements with director Rahul Mody. This development has caught the attention of fans and industry watchers, as Aamir’s involvement had initially generated significant buzz around the project.
Known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, Aamir was said to be deeply engaged in shaping the film’s narrative and screenplay in its early stages. However, as per multiple Bollywood reports, differences arose regarding the film’s treatment, ultimately leading to his decision to step away. While neither Aamir nor the production team has made an official statement, sources indicate that the collaboration is now off the table.
Despite Aamir’s exit, the biopic is moving forward under Rahul Mody’s direction. Shraddha Kapoor remains attached to the project, expected to portray Ashneer Grover’s wife, Madhuri Jain Grover. The makers are reportedly scouting for a younger actor to take on the lead role, with discussions already underway with several industry names. The project, announced only a few months ago, continues to attract curiosity, especially after earlier rumours about Imran Khan’s involvement were denied by the actor himself.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s upcoming slate is evolving. He is now focusing on a period sports drama with director Ashutosh Gowariker, centered on the historic 1952 India-Pakistan Test series, and is also expected to work on the much-awaited 3 Idiots sequel with Rajkumar Hirani. Fans will be eager to see which project Aamir chooses to bring to the screen next.
