Aamir Khan Eyes New Superhero Film With R. Balki After Lokesh Kanagaraj Exit

Aamir Khan, known for his selective approach to scripts, is reportedly exploring a new superhero film after his earlier collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj was shelved due to creative differences. According to recent reports, Aamir is now in discussions with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for a superhero project that will be helmed by acclaimed filmmaker R. Balki, who has previously directed films like Paa, Chup, and Padman.

The new venture is said to be in its early stages, with the scripting process currently underway. Industry sources indicate that Aamir will make a final decision once the script is completed and meets his expectations. The Bollywood Hungama report highlights that the project is still in the planning phase, and no official confirmation has been made about Aamir's involvement yet.

Earlier this year, Aamir Khan was set to collaborate with Lokesh Kanagaraj on a superhero film, but the project did not move forward. Instead, Aamir's only confirmed film at present is Lalkaara, a period sports drama based on the historic 1952 India-Pakistan Test series. Lalkaara will be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and is scheduled to begin filming later this year.

R. Balki's association with the new superhero project has generated curiosity, given his track record of handling unique subjects. While fans await an official announcement, the prospect of Aamir Khan returning to the superhero genre with a fresh team has already sparked interest across social media platforms.
