Adivi Sesh shines in Dacoit, reveals why he pens his own scripts

Adivi Sesh, who is currently basking in the box office success of his latest release Dacoit, has opened up about his unique approach to storytelling and acting. The film, which features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead and boasts pivotal performances from Anurag Thakur and Prakash Raj, has drawn considerable attention from audiences across regions.

Reflecting on his creative process, Sesh shared that he doesn't find it difficult to balance his roles as both actor and writer. "I'm not too troubled by that separation. I'm not too self-involved... Does it work as a scene? In my mind, I'm always that guy — the simple person eating popcorn who walked in off the street," he explained. Sesh further emphasized the challenge of finding great scripts, stating, "As a lead actor, you want great scripts, and it's not easy — there's not a buffet of great ideas anywhere in the world. A great idea becoming a great script, then becoming a great film — that's a miracle. So I just wanted to give it my all to make that happen. Unfortunately, it's worked out."

The pan-India appeal of Dacoit has also been evident, with fans across different regions expressing their admiration by quoting his own dialogues back to him. Sesh recounted, "That's when I realised they were reciting my own lines back to me, and the love they had was extraordinary." He spoke fondly about the warmth he received, especially when interacting with fans in various languages.

With Dacoit resonating widely and Sesh's storytelling being celebrated, fans are eager to see what the versatile star will bring to the screen next.
