Aishwarya Lekshmi has addressed recent speculation linking her to Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Raaka, directed by Atlee. The Malayalam star, known for her performance in Gatta Kusthi, responded to reports that suggested she would play a negative role in the big-budget fantasy action drama. In a statement to India Today, Aishwarya Lekshmi said, “No, I am not part of the film. Somebody, please cast me in the film.”
Raaka, which is being produced by Sun Pictures, has been generating buzz since its announcement, especially with Atlee at the helm following his successful directorial ventures. The film features Deepika Padukone as the female lead, with Janvi Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Mrunal Thakur also playing significant roles. Music for the project is being composed by Sai Abyankkar.
Earlier this year, there were reports that Aishwarya Lekshmi might join the cast of Raaka, but her recent comments have put those rumours to rest. The film remains one of the most talked-about projects in Indian cinema, thanks to its star-studded lineup and the collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee. With the main cast confirmed and production details in place, Raaka continues to be a focal point for fans eager to see Allu Arjun in a new avatar under Atlee’s direction.
