Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, Drishyam: The Conclusion, has cleared the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) process without a single cut, securing a U/A 16+ certificate. The Bollywood thriller, directed by Abhishek Pathak, is set for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026, and has already generated strong advance bookings, reflecting high anticipation among moviegoers.
Following the success of Drishyam (2015), this new installment stands out as the longest film in the Hindi franchise, with a runtime of 150 minutes. The cast reunites Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, and Kamlesh Sawant, and introduces Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj, and Rajat Kapoor to the ensemble. The film is produced by Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.
The censor board’s decision to grant certification without any cuts has caught attention, especially given the film’s murder-investigation theme. According to reports, the clean certification and crisp runtime have added to the buzz, with social media discussions highlighting the film’s potential for a gripping finale.
Earlier this year, the Malayalam version of Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal, achieved notable box office success, which has only heightened expectations for the Hindi adaptation. As the release date approaches, Drishyam: The Conclusion is poised to draw audiences eager for the franchise’s final chapter.
