Ali Fazal Promises Fresh Story in Mirzapur: The Movie, Hits Screens Sept 4

Ali Fazal, the celebrated star of Mirzapur, will return to the big screen in "Mirzapur: The Movie," set for release on September 4 in both Hindi and Telugu. After the massive popularity of the web series, excitement has been brewing, especially following the teaser launch, which sparked enthusiastic reactions across social media.

Fazal, who gained fame through his gripping performances in the previous seasons, clarified that the upcoming film will stand apart from the series. During a recent interview, he shared, "No, it’s a totally different story. It’s a notch up and, trust me, people will really enjoy it. It’s the first time something like this is happening, so you don’t really have a reference point for it. India mein aisa kabhi hua nahi hai."

Directed by Gurmeet Singh and presented by Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with Excel Entertainment, the film boasts a stellar ensemble including Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu Sharma, Jitendra Kumar, and more. As Fazal noted, "It has nothing to do with Seasons 3, 4, or any of the subsequent seasons. It’s going to feel like Season 1, with a new cast."
