Allari Naresh Returns to Comedy With Rambha Urvasi Menaka, Promises Laughter

Allari Naresh is set to bring his signature comedic flair back to Telugu cinema with the upcoming film Rambha Urvasi Menaka, releasing worldwide on September 4. Known for his knack for humor, Naresh highlighted that recent Telugu films have leaned towards darker themes, creating a demand for light-hearted entertainers. He shared, “Recently, a lot of dark zone movies have come out. Now, the audience is once again asking for light-hearted comedy films and entertainers.”

Directed by Chandramohan and produced by Annapurna Studios in collaboration with Hasya Movies, Rambha Urvasi Menaka features an ensemble cast reminiscent of the classic comedies made by Naresh’s father, EVV Satyanarayana. The film stars Surbhi, Raashi Singh, Vishnu Priya, and Prisha Singh in key roles. Naresh is joined on screen by Srinivas Reddy and VK Naresh, with their comedic chemistry being a highlight. Vennela Kishore also appears in a unique role as Lord Indra, delivering lines in English and Hindi for a fresh twist.

The trailer’s spoof of the OG movie has already caught attention online. Naresh explained that this sequence fits naturally into the story, as his character is obsessed with cinema and often speaks in film-inspired language. He assured fans that the humor is well-integrated and situational.

Chetan Bharadwaj’s background score adds to the film’s promise of continuous amusement. Naresh summed up the experience by stating, “The film offers throughout entertainment and is absolutely hilarious, while also carrying a very good underlying emotion.”
