Allu Arjun’s name was at the centre of intense speculation around Trivikram’s much-awaited mythological epic, God of War, until the project was formally announced with NTR in the lead. The development has put an end to persistent rumours that Allu Arjun was set to replace NTR, sparking heated debates among fan communities online.

Trivikram, who has delivered a string of blockbusters in recent years, reportedly always had NTR in mind for this ambitious venture. According to sources, Allu Arjun personally approached Trivikram last year, expressing interest in headlining the mythological film at a time when his slate included only Atlee’s project. Trivikram, however, did not immediately commit and maintained silence as the story reached NTR, who also chose not to comment.

As events unfolded, Allu Arjun soon signed a new film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, which was officially announced. With the path clear, Trivikram unveiled God of War with NTR, confirming that the actor was his first choice from the beginning. The filmmaker is said to have invested significant time in developing the script, with the project set for a pan-India release on a record-breaking budget.

With the shoot scheduled to commence early next year, all eyes are now on NTR and Trivikram to bring this grand vision to life, while fans await further updates on casting and production.
