Allu Arjun’s Raaka: Cibi Chakravarthy Says Visuals Surpass Avatar

Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Raaka, directed by Atlee, is drawing major attention as its release nears. Known for his dynamic performances, Allu Arjun teams up with Atlee, whose recent directorial ventures have consistently made headlines for their scale and ambition. Raaka, a fantasy action drama produced by Sun Pictures, has been in production for an extended period, fueling anticipation among fans and industry watchers alike.

At a recent event, Tamil director Cibi Chakravarthy shared his excitement after viewing exclusive footage from Raaka. He remarked, “Atlee sir is doing a film that will make Indian cinema proud. He showed me the visuals. I haven’t even seen such visuals in Avatar. You all will witness them in 3 days. It was extraordinary. Just like Rajamouli sir is taking Indian cinema to the next level, Atlee sir will take Indian cinema to the global map with Raaka. I’m proud to be your student sir.” Chakravarthy’s comparison to James Cameron’s Avatar has sparked curiosity about the film’s technical achievements.

The film features Deepika Padukone as the female lead, with music composed by Sai Abhyankkar. Sun Pictures, known for backing large-scale projects, is producing the film. Earlier this year, Raaka’s writer Ratna Kumar highlighted the movie’s pan-Indian appeal and international storyline, further raising expectations for its reach beyond traditional markets.

With visuals set to be unveiled in just three days, the buzz around Raaka continues to grow, especially after such high praise from a fellow filmmaker. All eyes are now on the team as they prepare to showcase what could be a landmark moment for Indian cinema.
