Allu Arjun’s Raaka Splits Into Two-Part Franchise
Icon Star Allu Arjun, currently filming for the ambitious project Raaka, will see his next big-screen outing released as a two-part saga. The decision was finalized after director Atlee and his team, along with producers Sun Pictures, held discussions with the actor. This move comes amid ongoing talks about the film’s sizeable budget and digital rights negotiations, where the expected figures have not yet been met.
The production team has mapped out a schedule to complete filming for both parts before the end of 2026. Once the shoot concludes, the makers plan to announce detailed release strategies for each installment. The cast features several prominent names, including Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, and Janhvi Kapoor, adding further anticipation to the project.
According to the latest update, Allu Arjun will shift his focus to a new film with Lokesh Kanagaraj after finishing his work on Raaka. Meanwhile, Atlee will dedicate his attention to post-production and finalizing the release plan for both parts. The scale of Raaka, backed by Sun Pictures, marks it as one of the most expensive ventures in recent Telugu cinema.
The team has yet to reveal official release dates, but fans can expect more information once filming wraps up later this year.
