Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, who previously charmed audiences in 'Baby', are teaming up again for the upcoming romantic drama 'Epic – First Semester'. Directed by Aditya Haasan, known for his success with '90’s – A Middle Class Biopic', the film is set to hit cinemas on September 11, 2026.

The story unfolds in a vibrant college setting, blending youthful romance, humor, and relatable emotions. Production is handled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Hesham Abdul Wahab composing the music and Azeem Mohammad working as cinematographer.

Shivaji and Vasuki Anand join the cast, reuniting with Aditya Haasan after their earlier collaboration in a popular web series. The film takes over the release window originally planned for Vijay Deverakonda’s 'Ranabaali', which is still in production, giving Anand Deverakonda the first shot at the festive box office.
