Ananthika Sanilkumar Says Youth Will Connect With Romanchakam

Ananthika Sanilkumar, who won attention with her role in 8 Vasanthalu, is set to return to the big screen with Romanchakam, releasing in cinemas this Thursday. The film, presented by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Pranay Reddy Vanga under the Bhadrakali Pictures banner, features Sumanth Prabhas as the male lead and is directed by debutant Venugopal Reddy.

Ahead of the release, Ananthika shared her excitement about the project, noting that she had been searching for a script like Romanchakam for a long time. She explained, “After 8 Vasanthalu, I heard many stories, but they didn’t excite me. That’s when I came across the Romanchakam story. I have been waiting for a script like this for a long time. I played a bubbly and easy-going girl in the film. Youth will relate to Romanchakam. It also features comedy and suspense elements apart from love.”

The actress highlighted that the film captures contemporary themes relevant to today’s youth and said that family audiences would also find it enjoyable. She pointed out that her co-star Sumanth Prabhas underwent more workshops for his energetic role, and described their on-screen conversations as natural and lively, adding that those scenes never feel laggy.

Romanchakam has already generated buzz with its trailer launch earlier this month, and its vibrant poster announcement in May drew attention on social media. With its blend of romance, comedy, and suspense, the film aims to appeal to a wide audience as it prepares for its theatrical debut.
