Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, who recently debuted with the mass entertainer Srinivasa Mangapuram, is now at the center of fresh industry buzz. Although his first film, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, did not perform well at the box office due to a lackluster trailer and low audience turnout, Jaya Krishna's performance received appreciation from those who watched it.
Currently, Jaya Krishna is reviewing new scripts, taking a measured approach to his next move. Producer Anil Sunkara, known for his admiration of Superstar Krishna and for backing several Mahesh Babu films, is reportedly keen on producing Jaya Krishna's second outing. According to industry sources, Sunkara has initiated discussions with his preferred director, Ram Abbaraju, for this project.
Ram Abbaraju has previously delivered two successful films, Samajavaragamana and Nari Nari Naduma Murari, both under Anil Sunkara's AK Entertainments banner. The director is presently occupied with the shoot of Samajavaragamana 2, but is also developing a script tailored for Jaya Krishna. Talks are ongoing, and if everything aligns, the new film could go on floors next year with AK Entertainments producing.
For now, Jaya Krishna is taking a break and is not rushing into his next project. The collaboration remains in the discussion phase, with fans and industry watchers awaiting further updates.
