Anirudh's RC17 Announcement Anticipated at Jailer 2 Telugu Event

Anirudh Ravichander is set to take center stage at the Telugu pre-release event for Rajinikanth’s 'Jailer 2', scheduled for October 15, 2026. With Nelson Dilipkumar directing and Sun Pictures producing, the sequel has generated significant excitement, especially as it arrives during the festive Dussehra season. While Rajinikanth will not be present at the event, the rest of the team is expected to attend, and Anirudh's live performance is already a major draw for fans.

Beyond his musical set, the buzz is focused on whether Anirudh will use this platform to confirm his involvement in RC17, the upcoming collaboration between director Sukumar and actor Ram Charan. This potential announcement is particularly noteworthy, as it would mark Anirudh's return to composing for a Mega hero after an eight-year gap since Pawan Kalyan’s 'Agnyaathavaasi', whose soundtrack remains popular among Telugu audiences. Social media has been abuzz with fans expressing their hopes for Anirudh to officially join the RC17 team, with many stating that his music could bring a fresh dynamic to the project.

RC17 is backed by Mythri Movie Makers, and a formal launch is expected to take place during Dussehra. While the rest of the cast and crew details are yet to be revealed, anticipation continues to build. As per reports, "many are manifesting that this should happen, but we will have to wait and see if he confirms it on stage." The Telugu film community is watching closely to see if Anirudh will make the much-awaited announcement at the Jailer 2 event.
