Anupama Parameswaran has unveiled her captivating look as Kandula Sulochana Rani in the upcoming pan-India period action film Bhogi, starring Sharwanand. Directed by Mass Maverick Sampath Nandi, known for his high-octane entertainers, Bhogi marks a new collaboration with producer KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts. Fans have eagerly embraced Anupama’s earthy transformation, praising her authentic portrayal of a resilient village woman from the early 1960s.

Set in a fictional village near the Telangana-Maharashtra border, Bhogi weaves intense action with deep cultural roots. Anupama’s character, a maker of leaf plates from Moduga leaves, embodies quiet strength and is described by the team as the soul anchoring the film’s tempestuous narrative. She meticulously honed the regional dialect and body language to lend authenticity, walking barefoot with a basket of green leaves in her first look that radiates rustic charm.

The film’s shoot has spanned locations including Rajamahendravaram and the dense forests of Rampachodavaram and Maredumilli, with recent schedules capturing gripping action sequences. With visuals promising grandeur and a story steeped in local faith and tradition, Bhogi is slated for a worldwide release on August 28th during Raksha Bandhan in five languages.

As the team gears up for the Hyderabad schedule, audiences are keen to witness the dynamic between Anupama’s Sulochana and key characters like Dimple Hayathi’s role, setting high expectations for this richly textured cinematic experience.
