Balakrishna and Kajal Aggarwal Reunite for Dada: Director Gopichand Promises Energetic Dance Numbers

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Kajal Aggarwal are set to share the screen once again in the upcoming Telugu film Dada, directed by Gopichand Malineni. After their previous collaboration in the 2023 action drama Bhagavanth Kesari, the duo is returning with a project that has already sparked interest among fans, especially after the release of its title glimpse.

Director Gopichand Malineni, who has built a reputation for delivering commercial entertainers, recently spoke about what audiences can expect from Dada. He highlighted Kajal Aggarwal's involvement, saying, “Kajal garu is a very sweet person. She warmly welcomed me and the film when I narrated the script to her. Balayya garu and Kajal will bring a fresh energy and great chemistry to the screen. Audiences can also expect some thumping dance performances from them, which will be one of the major highlights of the film.”

The film’s cast includes veteran actors Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani in significant roles, with their character posters expected to be unveiled soon. According to the director, "What the audiences have seen is just the beginning; there’s a lot of drama that we will unveil slowly. We have already wrapped up 50 percent of the shooting." Manchu Manoj is on board as the antagonist, adding further intrigue to the film’s narrative.

Dada is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026, aligning with the Christmas holiday season. The makers are promising a blend of action, drama, and commercial elements, with social media already abuzz about the film’s cast and energetic music.
