Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Koratala Siva are teaming up for a new film that promises action on a scale not seen before in the director's previous works. Known for weaving strong social messages into his stories, Koratala Siva is now crafting a narrative focused on intense action sequences specifically for Balakrishna. The star, who recently worked with Gopichandh Malineni, has reportedly approved the action-heavy script, signaling a shift from the director's usual style.

However, the production faces a significant hurdle. Balakrishna is currently recovering from surgery after sustaining an injury during the shoot of Gopichandh Malineni’s film. Doctors have advised him to avoid strenuous activity, especially the kind of physically demanding stunts planned for this project. This has left Koratala Siva with the challenge of designing grand action episodes without compromising the star's health.

Industry sources note that while body doubles are commonly used for risky stunts, Balakrishna prefers to perform his own action scenes and is generally reluctant to use stand-ins. This preference adds another layer of complexity as the team prepares for the shoot. The film, referred to as NBK112, is currently in pre-production, with Sudhakar Cherukuri and Sudhakar Mikkilineni producing.

Balakrishna is also set to resume work on Gopichandh Malineni’s 'Dada', which is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026. As the December shoot for Koratala Siva’s project approaches, all eyes are on how the director will balance the film’s ambitious action with the star’s well-being.
