Natasimha Balakrishna has officially confirmed his next major project with director Mallidi Vasishta, in what is shaping up to be a high-profile collaboration. This news ends weeks of speculation and brings together Balakrishna, one of Tollywood’s enduring icons, and Vasishta, who impressed audiences with his work on Bimbisara.
Currently, Balakrishna is finishing NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni, while also lining up movies with Vijay Kanakamedala and Vivek Athreya. Mallidi Vasishta, meanwhile, is in the final stages of directing Chiranjeevi's mythological entertainer Vishwambhara, slated for a grand release in July.
According to sources, Vasishta approached Balakrishna with two storylines—one intended for Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna, and another tailored specifically for Balakrishna. The star was reportedly impressed and chose to proceed with the script meant for himself. The official launch of this project is planned for next year, following the completion of Balakrishna’s ongoing commitments.
