Nandamuri Balakrishna has returned to the sets of his upcoming Telugu film Dada, directed by Gopichand Malineni, after a nearly two-month hiatus due to an on-set injury. The actor, known for his consistent presence in Tollywood, underwent surgery and took time off to recover before flying to Mysore to rejoin the production. Balakrishna will participate in a 15-day schedule, during which major portions of the film will be completed.

Dada, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Peddi fame, features Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead and music by Thaman. The director, Gopichand Malineni, managed to continue filming other sequences in Balakrishna's absence, ensuring the project stayed on schedule. According to the production team, Balakrishna has assured that he will finish the remaining shoot without further delays or interruptions.

The film is now firmly set for a December 24, 2026 release, as previously announced. Song sequences featuring Balakrishna are planned for next month, with the team aiming to wrap up all shooting work well ahead of the release date. Earlier this year, Balakrishna was reported to be recovering from the injury sustained during the shoot, but his swift return has reassured fans and the production team alike.

With the shoot back on track and the release date approaching, anticipation is building around Dada's arrival in theatres during the festive season.
