Bhagyashree Borse to Star Opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in Bollywood Debut

Bhagyashree Borse is set to make her Bollywood lead debut in an upcoming film starring Aditya Roy Kapur, with production helmed by Bhushan Kumar under the T-Series banner. The project, which was announced in July, is described as an intense and musical love story directed by Milap Milan Zaveri. The film is currently untitled and is scheduled for a theatrical release in 2027, with shooting expected to begin soon.

Bhagyashree has already established a presence in South Indian cinema, having made her lead debut with Ravi Teja’s 'Mr. Bachchan' and later appearing in films such as 'Kingdom', 'Kaantha', 'Andhra King Taluka', and 'Lenin'. She has also taken on cameo roles in Hindi films like 'Yaariyan 2' and 'Chandu Champion', but this upcoming film marks her first major role as a female lead in Bollywood. Director Milap Zaveri, known for previous works like 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' and 'Mastiii 4', is returning to the romantic genre with this project.

Earlier this year, Bhagyashree's career in Tollywood was highlighted as being at a crucial juncture with the release of 'Lenin'. Now, her transition to Bollywood signals a new phase, offering her a prominent platform in the Hindi film industry.
