Chiranjeevi Awaits Final Cut of Vishwambara, Sankranthi 2027 Release Likely

Chiranjeevi, one of Telugu cinema's enduring icons, is closely monitoring the progress of his upcoming film Vishwambara. The film's team is currently finalizing post-production, with the completed version expected to be ready by the end of October. Once the final output, including the crucial VFX work, is completed, Chiranjeevi will personally review the film before the release date is officially locked.

Vishwambara is directed by Vassishta and features Trisha in the lead role alongside Chiranjeevi. The project is produced by UV Creations, with music composed by MM Keeravani. According to industry talk, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights and reportedly included a clause that the film must have a theatrical release during the Sankranthi festival season in 2027.

Chiranjeevi is also busy wrapping up another film, Kaaka, which has already been announced for a January 13, 2027 theatrical release. This scheduling means the final release plan for Vishwambara will depend on Chiranjeevi's feedback after viewing the finished product and the coordination of release windows for both films.

The anticipation around Vishwambara has been building, with fans eager for updates after delays due to extensive VFX work. Social media discussions reflect high expectations for the film, especially with the festive Sankranthi slot in sight. The next major update is expected once Chiranjeevi views the final cut and the team makes an official announcement regarding the release.
