Chiranjeevi's Kaaka, Ravi Teja's Dagudu Moothalu Dandakor Lead Sankranthi 2027 Race

Chiranjeevi's upcoming film Kaaka is set to be a major highlight of the Sankranthi 2027 season, with its release scheduled for January 13th. The veteran star, who continues to draw large crowds with each outing, will be joined in the festive box office race by Ravi Teja, whose film Dagudu Moothalu Dandakor, co-starring Sree Vishnu, is slated for January 14th. Both projects have generated considerable anticipation, reflecting the stars' enduring popularity in Telugu cinema.

Venkatesh, another stalwart of the industry, will appear alongside Kalyanram in January 12 Vidudala, releasing on January 12th. Sharwanand also joins the Sankranthi fray with George Krish, set for release on January 14th. Sai Dharam Tej's Sambarala Yeti Gattu is currently listed for January 12th, though there is talk that its date may shift to avoid a direct clash with Chiranjeevi's Kaaka. According to reports, "things will be finalized at a later date" regarding this potential change.

The Sankranthi 2027 chart also features Mahakali, starring Akshaye Khanna and Bhoomi Shetty, which will arrive first on January 8th. In addition, there is speculation that Rajinikanth's Dharman and a project featuring either Karthik and Kalyan Shankar or Siddhu Jonnalagadda (produced by Sithara Entertainments) may join the lineup, though these are not yet confirmed.
