Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film with director Bobby is generating major anticipation as it eyes a grand Sankranthi 2027 release. The megastar, known for his festive blockbusters, is reportedly considering the holiday season for his next big-screen outing, though an official confirmation is still awaited.
Meanwhile, Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyanram are set to headline Anil Ravipudi’s next full-length entertainer, which has already been announced for Sankranthi 2027. This collaboration has sparked excitement among fans, especially given Ravipudi’s knack for delivering crowd-pleasers and the strong track records of both lead actors in family entertainers.
Sharwanand is also joining the Sankranthi race, teaming up with director Srinu Vaitla for a new film. The shoot is expected to commence soon, with the makers aiming for a festive release. On the production front, Karthi is working on a straight Telugu film directed by Kalyan Shankar, with S Naga Vamsi reportedly keen to bring this project to theatres during the same season, though an official announcement is still pending.
While Ravi Teja’s entertainer with Hashit Goli was initially speculated for Sankranthi, it is now targeted for a 2026 release. Nagarjuna’s plans for a multi-starrer have been shelved, and other biggies like NBK111 and Prabhas’ Fauzi are scheduled for December, just ahead of the festival window.
With 5-6 major films vying for the coveted Sankranthi 2027 slot, fans can expect more clarity on the final line-up after the Dasara season. The festive box office battle is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent years.
